Genjiro looks around as people pair off and dash away from the fields. 'He said Yuto Hyuuga... So look for the dojutsu. I wish that narrowed it down better.' He focuses once again on the flow of blood in the people around, looking for odd flow near the eyes. 'Maybe him... no he went off with another one. Not Yuki. Not her, but that's an impressive heart beat. Jeez.' He eventually catches Yuto still standing around nearby. 'White eyes. Makes sense. But all that internal damage. What has he done to himself?'

Genjiro moves over to Yuto. "Ho there, Yuto? It looks like we'll be teaming up here." He extends his hand out only to stop again as he remembers the bleeding, then bows in greeting. "I'm Genjiro Hinomoto of the Land of Lightning. I guess I'm in your care! If it's alright with you, could we start heading to the Forest of Death a little slower? I gotta redo my seals." he shows off his hands for effect, revealing the many seals written on the bandages radiating out from the palms.

As I predicted Ray is fired up. Akio didn’t show it on his face but under the surface he was also feeling very relieved that he was paired up with Ray. ‘He may be a little much sometimes, but him getting excited like this fires me up too,’ Akio thought to himself.
“Let’s get to the forest Ray, nothing is gonna stop us. Not when we got each other’s back,” he said this while thinking of all the missions we have gone on together. They always worked together super well and would never leave the other behind. It seems like ever since Akio came to the leaf, they just clicked as friends and rivals.
Akio looked to the trees to plan a path to jump to, planning out his next move even for just getting to the Forest of Death to ensure he gets there as quickly as possible. “Alright, I’ve got our path,” he said as he flew up to the tree line with deliberate footing. Akio has a way of remembering small details and this is no different. “Just follow me and we should arrive in a few moments.” He launches forward and flys off towards the forest.

Yuto would simply watch on as the other Genin would introduce themselves and converse with each other. He would've much rather been anywhere but here, but it couldn't be helped. After a short while, however, the Hokage would address everyone and announce that those who had stuck around had passed the first exam.

'I should've known it would be that simple.' He thought to himself.

As everyone would break off into teams for the second round of the exams, Yuto would be approached by a boy who sported short black hair and blood-red eyes. The boy was rather bulky for his perceived age, and he covered his arms in tons of bandages. He proceeded to introduce himself as Hinomoto, Genjiro, and he stated that he hailed from the Land of Lightning to the northeast before bowing.

"Pleasure to meet you. I am Hyuuga, Yuto." Yuto too would bow for a moment before straightening back up and looking Genjiro up and down. Taking notice of the boy's arms, he could see the innumerable amount of seals and the amount of blood that covered the bandages. Cocking his head to the side, Yuto would continue speaking. "Sure. We'll take the journey slowly, but whats the deal with those bandages? You practice Fuinjutsu?"

"Ya know, I think one of my ancestors was the seal guy, but I never really cared too much for it." He says while removing the bandages from his left hand. "You can watch if you want, though it's not too interesting." As the last of the bandage leaves his hand, you can see a wound in the center of his palm like the skin there has been torn open. It takes a few seconds before it starts bleeding. Gen then holds his hand out in front of his face and it's clear he's counting under his breath as the blood flows. At exactly three minutes, he stops his counting and starts calculating something out with his fingers. "I think 62... no that's not right. Hey what's 192 divided by 3?" His eyes light up as he finishes talking. "Ah... 64. Nevermind. 64 milliliters. Hold this." He hands Yuto a pot of ink while he fishes for something in his pack, eventually pulling out two rolls of clean white bandages. With practiced ease, he quickly lays out the two bandages across his lap and swiftly grabs the ink pot back from Yuto, pulling out a brush and setting to work. In a couple minutes he's written out a series of lengthy seals across both bandages and has put away everything he'd removed from his pack, old bandage and the ramen bowl included.

"The rest I can do while we're walking." Genjiro gets back up and motions toward to Yuto to follow as he begins to wrap his left hand, starting from the palm as blood seems to pull away from the cloth.
"Anyway, you're probably wondering what's up with all this. It's my clan's kekkai genkai, you could say. We use our blood for a pretty crazy variety of things, but mostly I shape mine into weapons.
I can take one hell of a beating and bounce back completely fine and while I can do some lightning and water techniques it ain't exactly comfortable." To illustrate his point, once he's removed the bandages from his right hand and it begins bleeding in earnest, he closes his eyes in focus and you swear some of the blood vanishes as Gen grimaces. A quick series of hand signs afterwards leaves a spark of electricity between his thumb and forefinger, lasting only a second. "As you can see, it takes me longer to draw up chakra for regular Jutsu, so let's try to get by without it." He grins stupidly as he moves to start covering his right hand with bandages.

"Any other questions, or can we start talking about what you got going on, Yuto?" He looks almost concerned as he says this.

"Very interesting abities you've got there, Genjiro". Yuto said as he watched the other boy as he did his thing. The Hyuuga had never seen anything quite like it, let alone knew that one's own blood could be turned into Chakra or vice versa. "They should definitely come in handy should the need arise, but like you said we may be able to get by without using them since it takes so long for you to mold it."

Yuto would begin walking towards the Forest of Death with his exam partner, and Genjiro would ask about Yuto's own set of abilities.

"As I hail from the Hyuuga clan, I have trained in my clan's Gentle Fist style of combat. On the other hand I've also trained in my village's sacred Mysterious Peacock style." Looking around to make sure that nobody else was around, Yuto would form the ram seal. Thick pink chakra would form around the Hyuuga's body but would mold to encompass only his hands. The chakra would further mold to resemble two identical dragon heads.

"This chakra was granted to me by a meteor that landed in Hoshigakure a few hundred years ago. Shinobi there such as myself meditate around the meteor and from it we absorb the immense amounts of chakrs it has, thus this mysterious technique of mine."

Genjiro listened intently as Yuto talked, trying to figure out what could be causing the internal destruction in the boy. 'Some strange technique maybe...?' Then it happened. With a single hand seal, Yuto released visible chakra. 'That's an incredible amount of chakra.' As the solid chakra forms in Yuto's hands, Genjiro redoubled his focus on the boys blood flow. Woah. It's practically tearing him apart, little by little. He probably hasn't even begun to feel it yet. Covering up his inner thoughts with a cracked smile, Gen says "Sacred technique, huh? Do go on." 'Maybe I'm wrong. I'll keep an eye on him for now.'

Genjiro and Yuto continued on their way, strategizing on how best to combine their styles effectively. At some point along the way, Gen begins to regale Yuto with stories. "So. Yuto. Ever been to the Land of Frost? Lovely place. Met a whole bunch of crazy little groups of shinobi when I was on a mission out there. Nice people, but there was this one specific band of I think it was, like, 13 that called themselves the Oniwabanshu. They had this one guy who looked like, and I kid you not, a weasel his nose was that pointy. His name was Kama Tachi, which everyone thought was just hilarious. He wore it with pride to; he was a total prankster. Anyway, there was this other guy in the group he didn't really get along with named Sora and he..." And on he went.
