APPEARANCE: Kaito is a young man hailing from Konohagakure's Uchiha clan. He gives off the appearance of a battle-hardened individual in his mid-twenties despite the fact that he is only sixteen years-old, complete with sharp emerald-green eyes, rough and tanned skin, and a large scar that extends from the bottom of his left cheek to underneath his right eye. He is almost constantly wearing a frown or scowl upon his face, not because he is in a bad mood per se, but rather from the lack of emotion he had to adopt during the five years he spent on the frontlines of the Third Shinobi World War. He sports a somewhat bulky nose, a long brown goatee, and long brown hair that he wears in an unruly and long ponytail. Kaito also stands at a towering height of 6' 0.8" and weighs 134.61 lbs. Because of his more adult features and tall figure, Kaito is oftentimes mistaken for a man in his early to mid twenties.
As a member of the Uchiha clan, Kaito bares the Sharingan in both of his eyes. He had attained both the three-tomoe variant and the Mangekyō Sharingan, which most people believe is just an ill-fortuned legend of the Uchiha. Kaito's Mangekyō Sharingan appears circular in design, with each individual tomoe extended into each other and the centers of the base inverted to be red. Lines also connect to these tomoe from the iris at the center of the eye.
Kaito can typically be found wearing a fishnet shirt with red trimmings, which he wears underneath his dark-green standard issue Konohagakure flak jacket. He too wears dark-grey elbow-length fingerless gloves, grey metal bracers, an oversized beige item pouch that buckles around his stomach, dark-grey pants, and a black open-front apron with two beige designs on it and black circles within the designs. He also wraps his ankles in bandages, which cuff his pants at the bottom, and blue shinobi sandals with open backs.

PERSONALITY: Kaito was a very happy child, always eager to please and be worthy of the Uchiha clan's name. One of the most significant bonds that he has is with his father, Asahi, who he regards highly and looks up to immensely. Because of the extensive training he was subjected to from the age of three, Kaito developed a love for training and maintaining his personal abilities as best he can. Another bond that Kaito cherishes deeply is the one he shares with his younger cousin Ray Kamaura, who Kaito practically views as the younger brother he never had. The two boys would often play together after their first meeting, but this would come to an end after Kaito enrolled into Konohagakure's ninja academy at the age of nine.
Following his graduation, Kaito and his classmates were immediately sent off to the battlefields. He saw many horrible things as a result of this, which made him begin to question his convictions and desire to become a shinobi at all in the first place, and this would further be amplified after a meeting with the Third Hokage in which he discovered that he was the last surviving member of his graduating class; all of his former classmates having perished in battle. Because of this Kaito would awaken his Mangekyō Sharingan and his entire demeanor would change as he sucummbed to his clan's "Curse of Hatred". He became very cold and equally calculating, using his Mangekyō Sharingan's abilities of manipulating gravitational forces to mercilessly kill all who opposed him on the battlefield. These actions garnered him the moniker of "Gravity Shifter Kaito" and a flee-on-sight order that opposing forces were expected to adhere to, but despite this Kaito would hunt down any fleeing shinobi like prey and kill them ruthlessly upon catching them.
Following the war Kaito became riddled with post traumatic stress. He would often have horrific nightmares about his experiences on the frontlines of the war and was repulsed by his actions. Following a heart-to-heart talk with his father, Kaito would be able to come to terms with what he had experienced and done, but he still feels that he has a lot of work to do to get back to being the person that he once was before his graduation from the ninja academy. In his strides to do so, however, he has let go of his clan's infamous hatred and replaced it with the "Will of Fire" that almost all Konohagakure shinobi bare within their hearts. He has also retaught himself how to simply have fun, which he achieves through training and playing board games. He sometimes drags his cousin Ray over to his home to play Shogi and Go, and he can't help but laugh at Ray's reaction to what he calls "boring games". Despite having adopted the village's "Will of Fire", however, he still harbors a deep love, connection, and loyalty toward his clan, and he is very confident in his abilities and bares his moniker of "Gravity Shifter Kaito" with a somewhat uneasy pride.

HISTORY:
- BIRTH & CHILDHOOD (BIRTH - 8 YEARS-OLD):
Kaito was born on a clear August night to Hikari Uchiha and Asahi Uchiha; two Konohagakure shinobi. Kaito's mother had retired from active duty a few years prior to Kaito's birth, but his father was still employed as a Jounin in the village and was a veteran of the Second Shinobi World War. The man had seen many horrible things during the war, and because of this had awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan in secret. Following the war, Asahi and many other shinobi had the sinking feeling that yet another war would tear the world apart, and because of this Kaito had began training in the shinobi arts at the age of three.
Kaito wouldn't be much of what was considered a prodigy, but he learned quickly enough. Through the hard training that he endured with his father he would awaken his Sharingan at the age of six. At the same time the war that Asahi had predicted finally sparked to life, but by this time he too had retired from shinobi life so that he could focus on raising Kaito. At the age of eight Kaito would meet his cousin, Ray Kamaura, for the very first time. Ray was two years younger than Kaito and was the son of his estranged aunt Shiki, who was his father's sister who had left the village to be with her lover outside of the village. Through Shiki's untimely death and the disappearance of Ray's biological father, the boy was sent to live with their shared grandmother who resided within the Uchiha's Clan's compound. The two boys would often play and train together under the tutelage of Kaito's father.
- THE NINJA ACADEMY (9 - 11 YEARS-OLD):
At the age of nine Kaito was enrolled into Konohagakure's ninja academy. During this time him and Ray, who had grown to be as close as brothers, began drifting apart as Kaito grew more and more focused on his studies. Despite this separation, Kaito still cared deeply for his cousin and would try his best to dedicate at least a little bit of his spare time toward spending time with him.
While enrolled in the academy, Kaito honed his proficiency in Ninjutsu, but he too began to study Jikūjutsu and Bukijutsu, both of which he would also become highly proficient in. He would also train his Sharingan to its three-tomoe state, allowing him to copy techniques that he saw being performed and to also mimic the movements of others down to the most precise detail. At the age of eleven Kaito graduated from the ninja academy and became a Genin. By this time, however, the Third Shinobi World War was in full swing...
- THE THIRD SHINOBI WORLD WAR (11 - 15 YEARS-OLD):
By the time Kaito and his classmates had graduated from Konohagakure's ninja academy, the village was in dire straits. Most of their forces were easily being overpowered by the opposing forces of Iwagakure, Kumogakure, and Kirigakure. Because of this the village began employing the use of Genin in the war effort, and Kaito was no exception. He saw battle mainly against Iwagakure, a time of which he would begin to question his convictions and why he had decided to become a shinobi in the first place. Despite this, he did well for himself in battle, but the same could not be said for the rest of his graduating class. After one particularly large battle that occurred a mere ten months after his graduation, Kaito would be called to meet with the Third Hokage and his old sensei from the academy at the Hokage's Office, where he was made aware that he himself was the last surviving member of his graduating class. All of his classmates had perished in battle; some in countries far away from home and others who made it back to Konohagakure but succumbed to their wounds in the village's hospital.
Kaito was given a short month of bereavement to process and mourn the loss of his friends, and during this time he would awaken his very own Mangekyō Sharingan due to the pure depression and devastation that he felt deep within his heart. Kaito would advise his father of this, scared for his own safety due to the blood leaking from his eyes, and Asahi would begin training Kaito in the ways of the forbidden Dojutsu in secret. From this, Kaito learned that the two abilities granted from his newly acquired power were the "Jūryoku: Sotogawa no" and "Jūryoku: Naimen-teki"; both of which manipulated gravitational forces.
By the end of his bereavement leave from duty, Kaito began succumbing to the Uchiha Clan's "Curse of Hatred". He returned to the battlefields with a desire to crush all who opposed him and Konohgakure, and he would do so with ease considering his newly obtained abilities. Over time he became prodigally proficient in the use of his Mangekyō Sharingan abilities and his name was beginning to be known throughout the lands. Because of this he would be given the nickname of "Gravity Shifter Kaito", which came with a flee-on-sight order to shinobi from other villages who he confronted in battle, and he was promoted to Chūnin at the age of thirteen. A short year-and-a-half later, when Kaito was fifteen years old, the Third Shinobi World War would come to a close following the destruction of the Kanabi Bridge in Kusagakure and the utter destruction of Iwagakure.
- AFTERMATH OF THE WAR (16 YEARS-OLD - PRESENT):
Following the end of the Third Shinobi World War, Kaito would return home to Konohagakure a shell of his former self. He was riddled with post-traumatic stress, and he would oftentimes be woken up from sleep in the middle of the night by the horrific nightmares he was left with from the war. One particular day when he and his father were alone, the two talked as equals about their experiences. This would bring Kaito to tears, and from the conversation and finally being able to talk to someone about his emotions, Kaito was able to let go of his hatred and overcome his clan's curse.
Shortly thereafter he would again be called to the Hokage's Office. By this time the Third Hokage had stepped down and Namikaze, Minato had been appointed as the Fourth Hokage. The new kage offered Kaito a promotion to Jounin, but he declined as he felt he needed to be able to work on himself a lot more before accepting the position. During this time Kaito would also begin to foster a deep love for his village and comrades outside of the Uchiha clan, effectively adopting Konohagakure's "Will of Fire" within himself. Despite this, he still harbors a deep connection and loyalty toward his clan, and he continues to train his Mangekyō Sharingan with his father. As of Kaito turning sixteen, this training since the war has led to Kaito being able to sprout the yellow ribcage of his personal Susanoo. He also has been able to connect with his younger cousin Ray, who by this point was still a Genin, and he would help Ray with the anticipation of him also being promoted to Chūnin in the upcoming joint Chūnin Selection Exams that Konoha would be hosting.

JUTSU:
- Jūryoku: Sotogawa no - The first of Kaito’s Mangekyō Sharingan abilities, which is granted by his left eye. When activated, Kaito can manipulate the gravitational forces around him within a 25-meter radius. These manipulations do not affect Kaito himself, and he can both increase or decrease the forces at will.
- Jūryoku: Naimen-teki - The second of Kaito's Mangekyō Sharingan abilities, which his granted by his right eye. When activated, Kaito can manipulate the gravitational forces within himself. Similar to his other Mangekyo Sharingan ability, he can both increase or decrease these forces at will.
- Susanoo - The third and final ability granted by Kaito's Mangekyō Sharingan. The Susanoo is a powerful armor, and in later stages can form a large complete body variant. As of now, Kaito can only form the base ribcage variant of the Susanoo, which can block incoming techniques and projectiles, but he can only hold this form for a few moments at a time before nearly completely draining himself of Chakra. Kaito's Susanoo is also yellow in color.
- Shadow Clone Jutsu - This jutsu allows the user to create one or more copies of themselves. The user's chakra is evenly divided between themselves and their clones: creating one clone will give it half the user's chakra, creating two clones will give each a third of the user's chakra, and so on. Depending on how much chakra the user has and how many clones they make, this rapid depletion of their reserves can be dangerous. As of now, Kaito can safely create three clones at maximum.
- Fire-Style: Fireball Jutsu - The user kneads chakra in their body and turns it into fire, which they then expel from their mouth; the more chakra they use, the more flames that are produced. Sometimes the flames lack a distinct shape, being only a stream, but more often than not they take the form of a giant orb that maintains its shape until hitting a target. Upon impact, the fireball is powerful enough to crater the ground and vaporize the surroundings. Against living targets, the fireball can cause extensive burns.
- Water-Style: Water Wave Jutsu - The user spews water from their mouth in a waterfall-like fashion to wash away their targets. One can freely control the power of this technique by the amount of chakra kneaded and then released. While considered to be a basic Water Release technique, it has many variations.
- Fire-Style: Steamy Mirage Jutsu - This is a collaboration technique. By expelling a “Fire-Style: Fireball Jutsu” from his mouth and combining the technique with a Water-Style technique, Kaito allows the fire and water to hit and cancel each other out. This boils the water of the Water-Style technique to the point where it begins to steam excessively. This technique can nullify sight quite effectively, making it hard for anyone without a form of Chakra Sensing abilities to see inside of the steam.
