The setting sun illuminated the sky with a redish orange hue, the mountain air hung heavy with the scent of fresh blood. Battle waged on these mountain tops.
A squad of leaf shinobi faced off against an unknown force.
Only three of the ANBU shinobi still stood back to back to back, the rest of the unit, three others, had already fallen to the enemy. They were surrounded.
"We need to get out of here, we can win this. Shimizu, Tanaka, we need a plan." Fujitama whispered to his last two standing comrades. Before they could reply, the enemy who surrounded them had stopped advancing. And out of thier ranked stepped forward a man with jet black eyes.
"There is no need for more bloodshed. Simply accept the fate that has been given to you." His eyes flared red and in an instant. All three ANBU were unconscious. "Take them."
