Underground Caverns

The Land of Earth has miles upon miles of underground caverns underneath the ground's surface. Many of them are connected to each other via convoluted tunnel systems, and many people have gotten lost within and never returned. Rumors indicate that the former village of Iwagakure used the caverns to house many secrets detrimental to the village's survival and prosperity.

Iwagakure no Sato Ruins

The former site of Iwagakure no Sato. Despite the fact it was one of the former Five Great Nations, it was known far and wide for hiring mercenary groups to perform more complex and off-the-book missions that would normally put a target on its back. It was destroyed by the combined efforts of some of the other villages during the Third Shinobi World War for its underhanded and cowardly tactics in battle.

The Land of Earth

The Land of Earth is located north-west of the Land of Fire. The country is governed by the Earth Daimyō and is mostly comprised of desolate, rocky areas. The border of the Land of Earth runs along a rocky mountain range, blocking communication with other countries, and as the wind blowing from the north passes over these mountains it carries small rocks from the Land of Earth to the surrounding countries. This phenomenon is known by the locals as "Rock Rain".
