Yuto stirred in the uncontrollable slumber that was his coma.
He had dreams. Horrible dreams. He could see his home erupting into intense and uncontrollable flames; his mother, father, and younger sister all burning alive inside as their screams were drowned out by the crackling of the flames. These scenes played over and over again in his mind, and no matter what he did, he found no escape from this horrible nightmare of his.
He himself did not know it yet, but he could still hear bits of conversation and sound from all around him. One such conversation took place between two of the hospital's nurses, who were talking about how horrible it was that the young Hyuuga's village of Hoshigakure had been destroyed and that he was now an orphan in a village unfamiliar to him.
The Hyuuga boy also did not know that the rival he had acquired, Uchiha, Ray, had also been assigned to the same hospital room following his battle in the Chunin Selection Exams. Ray had awoken from his own slumber and, noticing how badly Yuto's cancer had spread to a surely irreversible point, decided to put him under a powerful Tsukuyomi. Yuto could subconsciously feel the pain he felt throughout his body begin to fade away, and the nightmares of his family burning alive were changed to a beautiful scene of them all spending time together, laughing together and genuinely being happy together.
Muscle memory alone is what showed that there was any sign of Yuto waking up.
The grimace he had been wearing upon his face for the past four days had, for the first time in a long time, changed to a genuine smile as a single tear of joy crept down his cheek. The heartbeat monitor he had been hooked up to began to speed up slightly from its typical rhythmic tune, and before long his eyes began to slowly open from their previously closed state. The light of the light directly above him blinded him, and through a bit of trouble he was able to shield the light with his arm as he sat upright in his bed.
"Wh...where am I?" He asked himself as he slowly began looking around the room around him.

"You're in the hospital. Turns out your cancer is pretty bad. I just woke up myself." Ray looked towards Yuuto from his bed, most of his face covered in a bandage, that clearly was due to be changed, face wounds always bleed the worst.

Tsushi seemed to be floating in dead space. There was nothing around her, not a single presence save for her own. Her thoughts bounced around her head like a frantic child lost on the street.
What happened?
Where am I?
What did he do to me?
Am I dead?! If he killed me I am SO haunting him for the rest of his little life!
As the last thought flew through her mind, she started panicking and patting all around herself searching for the feeling of a corporeal body. Her breathing seemed to pick up in pace, if one could even have a lung capacity wherever she was.
A bright light started forming in her periphery. Please don’t be what I think that is…
”There we go, that’s it. Come on it’s ok…“was all she heard. The only other thing she could hear other than her own thoughts. Not knowing why, Tsushi felt a sense of calm wash over her. It was almost as if someone blanketed her in pure care. Pure love and nurturing surrounded her and she turned towards the light again, growing bigger by the second. The only thing she could think of to do was to walk towards it.
Please don’t be death, please don’t be death, please don’t be death… she pleaded as she took small steps towards the light. As the sense of care grew stronger and stronger. suddenly she could hear much more as she was leaving the void behind. She could hear her own breath running through her nose, could hear the muttering of another person beside her.
The light grew so bright she had to close her eyes.
As soon as the redness of the light shining through her closed eyelids receded, she blinked. Her eyes heavy and leaden as she blinked trying to take in her surroundings. A ceiling hanging above her, lights shining in her now fully open eyes.
“There we go, welcome back to the world of the living” an unknown medical ninja said beside her as she lay in the bed.

Sebaata sits up in bed as both his hospital room mates wake up and start conversing. "Ah... You both are finally awake... I was getting lonely just in my own thoughts... "

Ray turned his head slightly in shock that someone else was in the room. Oh Sebaata,
i didnt see you there.
Ray rubbed the side of his face that was bandaged. The bandage was freshly changed by a nurse and due to the extent of his injury, his left eye was covered. Damn my face hurts. His stomach growled.
"Heh, hey I know i was kinda rude before
but we arent enemies now... got anything to eat?" Ray smiled

*Three Days After the Fight*
Akio lies in his bed. Eyes closed too anxious to open them. The soft warmth from the sunlight hitting the bed as his muscles ache. His chest moves steadily as he regulates his breathing. The pain from the broken ribs is overwhelming when he breathes too fast. His arms are in slings because of the damage to his clavicle. Bandages adorn his head, chest, and arm to cover the cuts, no, more like tears he got from Gen. His mind thinks back to the fight.
’Clean yourself up, there is no way you can fight with that much loss,’ he watches as he sees his arms crossed in front of himself. The end of the fight has been on loop in his head for hours.
’What happened to me out there. I know I awakened the Kirigan, but I never knew it would be so intense,’ He finally decides it's time to open his eyes.
Light begins to creep its way into his vision. Starting as a thin line light pushes into his eyes for the first time since the fight and then nothing happens. The room opens up to him in all its mundane dull colors.
That's a relief. How do I turn them on though?’ He scans the room. It's evening time and the sun is beginning to set. He watches it slowly fall as his mind continues to drift away from the moment. The darkness creeps into the room as he begins to fade back to sleep.
*Four Days Later*
A bit of rustling catches Akio’s half asleep interest. He hears Sebaata’s low voice cut through the air and decides it's time to wake up. He lifts himself up right in the bed and then scoots back so that the bedframe is supporting his weight. The pain from the other night has subsided noticeably but he can still feel his chest ache where the ribs are healing..
“Oi, how long have I been out??” Akio smirks and raises his arm, scratching his head free of the matted hair.

"Unfortunately all I have is this hospital food... You can have it... " Sebaata forms a stone hand with the sand from his gourd and begins to levitate the food to him. Half way to getting to Ray, the hand stops. Sebaata folds his arms. Silence filled the room for a moment. "Are you sure you want this?... I had freshly poisoned this food for my next target of assassination..."

The three guards-samurai blocking the door answer Sebaata. "Guard duty."
"Guard duty"
"Guard duty." The other two samurai glare at this last one until he eventually sighs. "And poison testing. I hate hospital food."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Skidding to a stop as the heart rate monitor slowly beeps, the tall man sizes Fumiko up before swiftly drawing a sword. "So the Damagakure are sending children now? No matter.
I'll cut down any who try to harm the Lady. Have at you, fiend!" His breathing becomes tense and sudden as the air around him seems to grow electric. Yellow dances in instant pulses of chakra down the length of his blade. He strengthens his stance, locking eyes with Fumiko as he readies to strike.
"Sensei. Uncle. You are doing it again. I do not think she is anything more than a regular Genin of the village."
"ALRIGHT JACKASS, IF I SEE YOU DO THIS ONE MORE DAMN TIME, YOU'LL BE THE ONE BLEEDING OUT ON THE BED! NOW GET YOUR ASS BACK IN HERE NOW!" Akaru shouted while leaning out the window.
"I believe I saw my friend back in there as well. I trust him, Uncle." Asami pleads.
Looking back and forth between the three women, he says "Oh."
************************************************************************************************************
Moments later,
After everyone is back in the hospital room, Akaru says "Thank you." seeming to have calmed down. Then she moves over her chair to the side of the bed, eyes it up for a moment, then climbs on to the chair so she's at eye level, and smashes the tall man in the face with her fist, sending him flailing into the wall. "Dumbass."

Hearing Akaru’s shout, Fumiko skids to a stop inches from the samurai. Her hair now colored a tinge of pink at the ends and spiked wildly flies past her face from the sudden stop and then rests again on her shoulders. She takes a deep breath, and her normal colors begin to saturate her hair and eyes again as the seals fade back to black against her skin. ”I would recommend listening to Blood Mom. Also, your being far too rough swingin 'er round like some ragdoll.”
Back in the room Fumiko stands with her arms crossed as she watches Asami’s Uncle get laid out by this petite woman. She pumps her fist and shouts ”Hell yeah Blood Mommy, show ‘em who’s boss!,”

Yuki heard the commotion and signed heavily to himself. "Well she's probably that way." He slowly dragged himself to the room that he had heard the loud talking from and poked his head in to see Tsushi. "Wrong room." He went to the next loud room and saw Ray and Yuuto having an argument. "Wrong again." Finally he opened the door that held way too many people for a hospital room to be comfortable. He looked to Sebaata, Asami, then finally Fumiko. Before she could react, he grabbed his cousin by the collar of her shirt. He bowed and nodded slightly to each of the people he knew in the room. "Glad to see you're up, Sebaata. I was a bit worried. Always good to see you, Asami. We'll probably have to wait until after the tournament for that dinner. I'd love to stay and chat but I'm just here for this one." With that he began to drag Fumiko out of the room.
